True enough, Fauda has grown to be one of the most action-packed Netflix titles in their whole platform––and no one seems to have heard of it. Recently, the series has just released its third season on the streaming giant, and according to a handful of sources, a fourth season is already on its way. In September of 2020, fans of the series have finally gotten the thumbs up and the green light for the fourth season! Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Fauda season!

What happened during Season 3 of Fauda?
As you may well be aware by now, spoilers ahead! The third season was added to the streaming giant globally on the 16th of April, 2020, after concluding its 12-episode run on YES, one of Israeli’s biggest TV stations.

Has Fauda been renewed for Season 4?
Unfortunately, when it comes to the renewal of the Israeli series, Netflix isn’t the platform to manage that––at least they don’t hold a say of what’s going to happen next for the series. YES is the primary network of Fauda and Netflix just contributes by distributing the series internationally. It isn’t common for the streaming giant to feel this inferior now, is it?
According to a couple of Hebrew sources, though, the series has already been renewed, stating:
“The series’ creator, Avi Issacharoff, announced last week that they are already working on a fourth season for the suspense series and the action that follows the plot of the undercover gang,” translated, of course.
On the 14th of September, 2020, fans and audiences alike have finally gotten the announcement via the official Facebook page of Fauda, stating that they will be returning for the fourth season!

When will Fauda Season 4 be on Netflix?
Ah, well, just like any other renewal, this one’s also unsure. In fact, it could even be some time before we see Fauda return to the streaming giant. If you’ve been a fan since day one, then you know that even before the pandemic struck the world, the show was only releasing seasons every other year. The first season released in 2015; the second released in 2017, bordering 2018; and the most recent one releasing in December 2019.
I don’t even know if it’s safe to assume that even if it sticks to the current production and filming schedule, its return to YES might be along the lines of late 2021––therefore releasing on the streaming giant in 2022.
One of the bright spots, however, is that the creators of the show are set to create a brand new project alongside Netflix. So if there’s anything you liked about Fauda, may it be the action, the production, the acting, whatever it may be––expect more of that on Netflix in the coming future.
