Kristen Bell stars in the New Netflix Original ‘The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window.’

“The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window,” an eight-episode limited series spoofing psychological thrillers like “The Woman in the Window” and “The Girl on the Train,” stars Kristen Bell (who also executive produces) as Anna, a broken hearted homebody who spends most of her time drinking wine and nonchalantly snooping on her neighbors. These fleeting observances have their ups and downs, as anyone who lives near those who dislike curtains knows.

Perhaps a charming so-and-so appears one day, only to be involved in a murder the next. Do you have any idea what you saw? Is it possible to discover the truth without putting yourself in danger? And, more importantly, why doesn’t anyone have the foresight to close the curtains before killing someone? These are the questions Anna must address if she wants to be more than just another woman or girl staring out the window.

‘A Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window,’ written by Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson, and Larry Dorf, is described as a darkly comic, wine-soaked, satirical slant on the psychological drama that will have you guessing who, what, where, why, and how in the eternal damnation?! till the last possible minute.

The teaser ends with the title card and the announcement of the show’s premiere date, which is set for January 28.
