‘Long Story Short’ Comes to Netflix on January 1st – Watch the Trailer

The romantic comedy Long Story Short is one of three movies that the media distribution company Saban Films is bringing to Netflix in January 2022. They will release The Colony and Zone 414 on Netflix in January also.

Who Stars in Long Story Short?

The cast includes Rafe Spall, known for the comedy TV series Trying, British horror movie The Ritual, and fact-based television drama The Salisbury Poisonings. The man has range. Starring alongside Spall is Jamaican-born Australian actress Zahra Newman, probably best known for her role as Iman Farah on Wentworth. The film also stars Dena Kaplan, Josh Lawson – who also wrote and directed Long Story Short, Malaysian actor Ronny Chieng, and Noni Hazlehurst.

What’s The Plot?

Teddy is known for his procrastination, so it takes a while for him to marry the love of his life, Leanne. After they marry, Teddy somehow finds himself jumping forward to the next year of his life every few minutes, always ending up in his future wedding anniversaries. He sees that his life has gone drastically wrong every year (or every few minutes!) and he doesn’t know how to stop it.

When Can We Watch it?

Long Story Short was released on February 11, 2021, in Australia, and comes to Netflix on January 1st, 2022, so you can watch it from New Years Day.
