Netflix Just Released the Trailer for Hindu Series ‘The Fame Game’

Stay tuned for this new Netflix series that will unveil the skeletons in the closet of a celebrity’s life. And it seems it’s not all that glamorous.

Netflix India updated fans of the series’ release date on Twitter this morning, with the post, “The story of a star who played many roles but forgot to be the main character of her own life. ‘The Fame Game’- a thrilling new series premieres on 25th February,”

Trailer

Netflix India’s description of the series’ YouTube trailer reads, “Lights, Camera, Action OR Lies, Camera, Action? Get ready to unravel the secrets of a superstar’s life.”

The trailer begins with the beautiful famous Anamika Anand standing in the flashlight of hundreds of photographers. A background journalist asks, “what does it feel being Anamika Anand?” she responds, “I feel very blessed. I’m just a mum, a wife and a daughter. I have a simple family.”

However, she gets a nightmare and her daughter finds her missing one morning. 48 hours since her disappearance, Anamika’s family seeks help from the police. The police then begin an investigation, uncovering a plethora of family secrets that reveal that the star’s life wasn’t as perfect as expected.

The ending voiceover, “sometimes your own family are the ones who cannot be trusted,” may imply that one of Anamika’s family members could be a perpetrator in her disappearance.

Apoorva Mehta, Karan Johar, Sri Rao and Somen Mishra are responsible for the series’ production under Dharmatic Entertainment. The show’s creators are Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli.
