Marvel Animes, Wolverine and X-Men, are Coming to Netflix in December

It feels a little bit weird to watch Marvel on Netflix, but I guess it’s one less streaming platform to pay for to watch exclusive Marvel content. It’s been clear that any type of Marvel content is heading to Disney+. However, Netflix still hosts a handful of content from the Marvel Universe. On that note, some Marvel animes are coming to the streaming giant on the 16th of December, 2020 in most regions occupied by Netflix.

Marvel Anime is basically the Marvel Universe turned into various series and films that cater to those who love the genre. It includes the likes of the X-Men, Iron Man, Blade, and Wolverine. Behind these titles are the people from the studio, Madhouse, and were distributed in the United States by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Originally, the titles aired in Japan’s Animax platform.

What’s Coming:

There are two series coming to the streaming giant in December: Marvel Anime: Wolverine and Marvel Anime: X-Men.

Marvel Anime: Wolverine is comprised of 12 episodes––following Logan and his quest to look for his missing girlfriend, Mariko Yashida.

Voicing in series are Milo Ventimiglia and Gwendoline Yeo.

Marvel Anime: X-Men is also comprised of 12 episodes, but this time it features some of your favorite names in the Marvel Universe with the likes of Professor X, Cyclops, Storm, Beast, Armor, and Wolverine as well. The anime series revolves around the happenings after the death of Jean Gray and the abduction of Armor.

Voicing the members of X-Men are Scott Porter, Steve Blum, Steve Staley, Cam Clarke, and Troy Baker.

However, it’s still unclear whether both the English and Japanese dubs will be coming to the platform.

It doesn’t fit well that some of Marvel’s content is still with Netflix, but the streaming giant does hold a handful of titles from Marvel. Back in April 2020, the streaming giant premiered the likes of Hulk Vs.Next AvengersPlanet Hulk, and Thor: Tales of Asgard.
