Steve ‘Frosty’ Weintraub over at Collider has managed to score an interview with Ryan Reynolds, the star who brings Deadpool to life in the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie.  In the interview, Ryan Reynolds confirms that he is in fact playing both the pre-Deadpool character of Wade Wilson and the creature that eventually becomes Deadpool, something that many fans weren’t certain of after the trailer was launched.   Reynolds also confirms the rumor that he has been approached to do a Deadpool movie, but adds we’ll have to wait on the success of Wolverine before those talks actually lead anywhere.

From Collider:

“I’ve had a couple of people approach me about meetings for a Deadpool movie but I think it’s absurd to think that way until this movie comes out. And I don’t even look at it like I play Deadpool in this movie. I really think I more or less play Wade Wilson, and I’m playing the creature that will eventually become Deadpool but in this movie it’s his newly formed version….so to speak.”
