After starring in Terminator: Dark Fate and multiple more Terminator films in the past, our beloved Sarah Connor will now be transferred to space in SYFY’s Resident Alien TV show as General McCallister. Speaking in military terms, she positions herself as one of the highest-ranked members of the military. With that, she’s determined to pick off the alien that’s now living in Patience, Colorado under the name and skin of Dr. harry Vanderspeigle (Alan Tudyk).
In the clip, General McCallister gives David Logan (Alex Barima) the passive-aggressive conversation of a lifetime only Hamilton can deliver, honestly. According to reports in the earlier parts of 2020, General McCallister actually sends out Logan and Lisa Casper (Mandell Maughan) to find the “little green men.”
Created by Family Guy‘s very own Chris Sheridan, Resident Alien is based on Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse’s Dark Horse comic book. Alongside Linda Hamilton, Alex Barima, and Mandell Maughan are Sara Tomko, Corey Reynold, Alice Wetterlund, and Levi Fiehler rounding out the cast.
“Right from minute one, Dark Horse thought this thing had legs,” Hogan told SYFY WIRE. “That it could make it on TV or as a movie. So they were trying from day one to find a home for this in Hollywood.“
Finding a home in Hollywood has never been an easy task if you’re not a part of the A-list. It felt like the project was on the brim, but proudly, Hogan boasts of a release date on the 27th of January, 2021, on SYFY.
