Amazon Prime’s Reacher: Release Date, Cast, Plot, and Trailer

The eight-part series, like the Tom Cruise films Jack Reacher (2012) and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016), will feature bare-knuckle action scenes, ingenious stunts, gun battles, and a hint of romance, and will be executive produced by author Lee Child.

Reacher is based on Lee Child’s first Jack Reacher novel, Killing Floor, and follows a rookie police investigator who arrives in Margrave, Georgia, to find a community dealing with its first killing in 20 years. Reacher is quickly apprehended by the cops, and eyewitnesses claim to have seen him at the crime scene. However, as he tries to prove his innocence, he uncovers a deep-seated conspiracy.

Amazon Prime Video has produced a fantastic trailer for Reacher. It depicts Ritchson’s Reacher coming in the fictional town of Margrave, where he piques the interest of the local authorities, who are alarmed by the seven fatalities that occur in the same week as his arrival. It features some exciting fist fights, an obligatory topless shot, and a moment in which he pops a beer bottle with his biceps alone, as well as clues towards the character’s romance. Take a look at all of the action in the trailer below, as well as a second clip with a lot of fighting.
