A Recap on Season 1 and a glimpse of the second season
If you haven’t heard, Sam Levison recently announced that Rue Bennet did not die at the end of last season, which is fantastic news for Zendaya fans. You could also be wondering what happened to Jules (Hunter Schafer), who left town on a train. Schafer confirmed Jules’ return in some manner for season 2 in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Schafer also expressed her want to see Jules continue to improve in the following seasons.
“I think I want to see Jules continue to work on herself because she still has some serious issues that she needs to explore and feel out. I believe she learns via experience. And so, in order for her to get the experiences she needs without being messy, I feel like I have a loving parent/sister relationship with her. That’s my wish for her, however who knows how things will turn out. I’m sure it’ll be messier than I’d hoped for her,” Schafer said.
Of course, we can anticipate the rest of the breakout ensemble cast to return for season 2, including Barbie Ferreira as Kat Hernandez, Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard, Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez, Maude Apatow as Lexi Howard, and Storm Reid as Gia Bennett.
