In the United States, Rick and Morty has launched its fifth season on AdultSwim, and if you’re wondering when season 5 of Rick and Morty will be available on Netflix, keep reading. The worldwide phenomenon needs no introduction, but for those who haven’t seen Rick and Morty, here’s a quick summary. Rick and his grandson Morty go on interdimensional adventures in this series. All About the 5th Season
The new Rick and Morty season 5 teaser opens with the US military encircling the Smith family home, with Rick Sanchez screaming inside as he slaps himself: “It’s showtime.” Summer Smith informs them that someone is trying to murder them in another scene, but Rick reminds her that someone is constantly trying to kill them. There are shots of humanoid turkeys with rifles and sunglasses, an Aquaman-like character who lives inside a seashell, and a big spider-like spaceship bombing the Smiths’ home.
We’ll start with the United States because it’s the most straightforward to cover. Season 5 of Rick and Morty will not be available on Netflix in the United States. Period. AdultSwim, which hosts new episodes shortly after they air, is the best spot to see them in the near future. The whole season will be available on Hulu and HBO Max at a later date. However, in the case of Hulu, it’s unclear how long the contract will be keeping it on the platform.
According to Unogs, Netflix has Rick and Morty licenses in practically every country outside of the United States. Rick and Morty season 5 is now available on Netflix in the Netherlands, Australia, and a number of other countries. New episodes are available the day after they premiere in the US (AdultSwim airs Sundays, Netflix drops on Mondays).
