Wit Studio Delays Vampire in the Garden to 2022 and Shares a New Image

Vampire in the Garden is an Original Net Animation (ONA) that Netflix will produce. This means that the anime is directly released onto the internet. Unlike other anime that are adapted from manga, this one is a straight-to-video.

The staff has been revealed; Ryoutarou Makihara is directing the anime with Hiroyuki Tanaka (Claymore, Hellsing Ultimate) serving as assistant director. The designer of the characters and chief animation director will be Tetsuya Nishio. Shunichiro Yoshihara (Attack on Titan, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) will be the art director. So far, those are the exciting news that we can share.

Vampire in the Garden: Details

Unfortunately, nothing much has been revealed to the public, even though Netflix made the upcoming anime series official. The written plot seems to pique a great interest. From there, it says, “In the divided world of the future, two girls want to do the forbidden: the human wants to play the violin, and the vampire wants to see a wider world.” There were also two screenshots of the anime that show two characters.

The anime talks about the harmony between humans and vampires in the past. Now that they appear to be in a conflicted world, a young girl and a vampire queen will try to seek that utopian world once again. From what we know, this is the concept that Wit Studio is trying to bring to the fans. It looks like they are about to get another thrilling, complicated world such as Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga. Wit Studio has been a part of producing amazing animations and has gained multiple awards. This means that Vampire in the Garden might be part of one of the remarkable anime series to exist since Netflix never fails to bring fascinating quality in producing their series.

The lack of details and information regarding the anime gives a mysterious vibe of how it will settle. This is also a clever idea to attract people interested in its potential, characters, and plot. The release date is expected to be around this year of 2021.
