Zoe Saldana Joins Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo in Netflix Sci-Fi Film ‘The Adam Project’

What is this?! An all-star team? From the actors to those behind the camera, this movie gets better by the day.

Their latest addition to The Adam Project film is Guardians of The Galaxy‘s (and an Avenger) Zoe Saldana to join alongside Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, and Golden Globe winner Jennifer Garner. Netflix took it to Twitter to share the news whilst The Adam Project is still currently in the filming stage.

The Adam Project will revolve around the story of a pilot (Ryan Reynolds) traveling back in time to find his 13-year-old self to solve his father’s (Mark Ruffalo) mysterious murder. Catherine Keener plays the antagonist in the film.

Directed by Shawn Levy, yes, the same Shawn Levy from Stranger Things––so you know things are going to be badass. Alongside Levy are Jonathan Tropper and David Ellison as the writers with Ryan Reynolds’ banner, Group Effort, and Levy’s own 21 Laps Entertainment.

As for the screenplay, it’s still being worked on by Jonathan Tropper with the help of the drafts from TS Nowlin, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett. Currently, the role of Saldana and Garner are still unknown but considering that the film has started shooting, we’re set to know soon enough.

Last November, Ryan Reynolds posted on Instagram behind-the-scenes and some kind of a first look with Reynolds and director Levy. He wrote as a caption for the post:

“Finished our first week on The Adam Project.” The post also included behind-the-scenes shots of Reynolds and director Levy.

As for Saldana, she’s pretty loaded for work but managed to sneak into the cast of The Adam Project. Currently, her upcoming projects include The Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3Avatar 2Missing Link, and tons more.
