Haro Aso, the mangaka of Alice in Borderland, arrived bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in 2018 with his perky new creation Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead.
Zom 100, since its inception has been cheering up readers with its refreshing take on the brimming cliché of what is now the “zombie genre”. The fandom has been avidly awaiting any ray of hope on a Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Anime, and a prominent leak suggests that just might be the case.
Is Zom 100 Anime truely Happening?

Recently a leak has surfaced online that Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead has an anime in works behind the scenes with an official unveiling soon. This leak would generally be disregarded but not only is Haro Aso a competent mangaka whose works have dazzled audiences, but also recently such leaks have been appearing regarding other animes as well which have stood the test of time by being proven right.
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead volumes are amounting to 10 at the moment, with the 11th follow-up on June 17, 2022. The rumour suggests that the anime will be announced with the release of the 11th volume. 11 volumes mark a hefty standpoint for any manga to receive an adaptation, serving further as a buoyant factor for fans.

With Alice in Borderland, zombies had a some-what background performance, but Zom 100 redefines Haro’s style with the inclusion of bamboozling scenarios, peart performances and an overdue overhaul of the zombie genre- literally that is what the protagonist’s actual goal is.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead follows our worked to the bone 24 year old company man Tendou Akira, who is constantly exposed to one thought while watching grisly and abominable zombie movies, “Man I wish that was me”.
His mundane life, toxic environment and congested emotions all leave him yearning that everyone was gone so he could do anything he ever wanted without a care in the world. When he gets his wish he sets out to create a bucket list of 100 things he has to do before he gets nabbed by a zombie- from the silliest things as tidying up his room to the hard ones like confessing to the girl he loves.
