Since 2013, Netflix subscribers have basked in the greatness of Doctor Who––so much so, however, that subscribers felt like the series had a permanent home in the streaming giant. Season release after season release, Netflix UK subscribers have caught it with so much joy––but now, they’ll have to say goodbye to their favorite British sci-fi series once and for all.

In 2005, the sci-fi series made its return to TV, easily becoming one of the most popular series on one of the most popular platforms then, BBC. Continuing what was left of the classic Doctor Who series, long-time and brand new fans continually fall in love with the series. Despite a rollercoaster ride of a career, people have still been binge-watching the British series.

January will see all ten available seasons of Doctor Who leaving Netflix UK. As for where it’s going, numerous BBC TV series have already left Netflix UK and have become a part of the BritBox library. Well, it was only a matter of time until the famous British sci-fi series would leave the platform.
