It has become known that the two-series finale for Smalville is sheduled to air on Friday May 13th, 2011, and the final 21st and 22nd episodes of the 10th season of the show will be called… “Finale, Part 1″ and “Finale, Part 2″. Not quite very creative, right? But does it really matter for those who are prepared to bid farewell to their favourite show of all times?
The series will close up with the final image of Tom Welling in his Superman outfit soaring over the Daily Planet. So many fans were probably hoping that the finale of the series would be called “Superman”.
To our regret all – or almost all – good things come to an end sooner or later, so time has come to say farewell to our favourite Smallville. But although it might be sad to see the series ending, we still have two finale episodes to see Tom turn into the magnificent Superman.
