‘Shtisel’ Season 3: The Israeli Netflix Series’ Release Date and Trailer

At this point in Netflix’s career, it seems as though it isn’t even owned by Americans. As far as I’m concerned, content from other countries has absolutely been killing the game––dominating the catalogs of the streaming giant. From K-dramas, animes, to your normal international content releases, Netflix seems to be the second home (and some, first) of worldwide series and films alike.

Of course, as long as the streaming giant is performing––racking up the subscriptions––it is to no doubt that they will be continuing to release these types of content. One, in particular, has already been renewed for a third season––even already having been set for a release date. That “one” is among the best-performing Israeli dramas on the platform, Shtisel, which will be releasing on the platform very soon.

What is Shtisel all about?

The series is set in a Haredi neighborhood in Jerusalem and closely follows the life of the Shtisel family as well as their varying relationships with each other and outside. Considering there are traits and rules the Haredi strictly follows, building long-lasting relationships is a challenge in itself. Created by Ori Elon and Yehonatan Indursky, the series stars Doval’e Glickman, Michael Aloni, and Neta Riskin.

Dikla Barkai, one of the producers of Shtisel, said the following about the series’ release on the streaming giant:

This season was made possible thanks to the love and support we received from fans and viewers throughout the world. We are thrilled to be able to bring the Shtisel family to the warm embrace of global audiences in time for Passover,

This season looks to be one of the most important ones of the series considering how Netflix’s Unorthodox star Shira Haas will be playing a big role in Season 3. The third season proves to be the finished product after experiencing the greatest production lockdown of the century with the pandemic. Given that, this ought to be a testament to Israeli content.

When is Shtisel Season 3 premiering on Netflix?

Airing on Israel’s dominant yes TV network (yes, it’s in small-case letters), the third season of the series will be premiering on Netflix towards the end of March 2021––more specifically, the 25th of March, 2021 alongside all nine episodes at 12:00 AM PST.

For those of you who tuned in to the developments of the whole series (especially on Netflix), you know that the series was a close call in being removed from the streaming platform last December. However, the good news is that it wasn’t nearly considered as, let’s say, series like Gossip Girl and The Office. In fact, the streaming giant even managed to grasp its hands on seasons one and two. With that, the show lives on after being introduced to the public in December of 2018.

Of course, it is with no doubt that the series will be arriving on Netflix with its inherent Hebrew audio. However, the platform always prevails with an assortment of subtitles in languages like English, French, Polish, Arabic, and even Hebrew caption. Netflix has always been ready with subtitles––mark that on your heads.

Before anything else, here are a few posters from the newest season. If you haven’t watched the show but you’re planning to––start now. In fact, you may even love the show so much that you eventually decide to join the famous Facebook group that exclusively discusses the happenings, the events, and everything else related to the show.

If you’re asking, the last one is my most favorite one (you probably aren’t, but still).

Is there a trailer for Shtisel Season 3?

Oh, you bet there is. You can watch the trailer down below!
