Netflix teased fans when they released the ‘Lupin’ season two’s trailer just recently. Fans are excited because six new episodes are waiting for them when the new season drops on June 11, 2021. After a cliffhanger ending in season one, fans speculated many ideas on what’s next to come for the show. With the new season just right in the corner, are your guesses correct?
A fan-favorite French show revolves around the adventures of a professional thief Assane Diop, played by Omar Sy. The dashing thief fashions himself as a modern-day Arsène Lupin with a mission to get revenge on the wealthy Hubert Pellegrini to avenge his father’s death. As a naughty thief, detectives hunt for him, and one of the detectives is already catching up to him.
With all the adrenaline this show has, fans are more than excited to see more of Assane and his rollercoaster ride of missions to finally avenge his father. The new trailer shows Assane in a peculiar position, hinting that he’s probably on his mission to save his son. As seen in the last episode of the first season where his son was kidnapped.

This time Assane is now tagged as the “most wanted man” in France, and for sure, fans also think the same as they want more episodes, and Netflix will deliver it to them! The new five upcoming episodes are directed by Ludovic Bernard and Hugo Géllin. Season one was first aired on January 2021. The trailer for season two was released on March 2021 as Netflix also announced it on Twitter.
