What is Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway all about?
The thing is, you don’t even have to ask this question if you’re an anime fan. The Mobile Suit Gundam franchise is one of the biggest anime to ever be produced by Japan. The franchise has boasted not only anime, but manga, video games, and even toys as well. For decades, the franchise has never failed its fans––and having it on the streaming giant is a huge win for international fans.
As for Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway, the story is set twelve years after the second Neo Zeon War. However, military conflicts are still on the rise, and the Earth Federation’s policy of “Man Hunting” is still at large––exiling civilians into space.
Amidst all this corrupt use of power and discord, the anti-federation government known as Mafty is rising in power. Fortunately, this side of the government is against the inhuman corruption of the Earth Sphere. Despite the blood on their hands, Mafty continues to receive support from the population. Leading the Mefty, it’s none other than Hathaway Noa––the son of Bright Noa, one of the officers for the Earth Federation Forces and a valiant warrior for the One Year War.
When is the release date of Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway on Netflix?
The Netflix Geeked Week event has been a tremendous week for anime fans and fantasy fans alike. However, despite the trailer fulfilling the joys of many Mobile Suit Gundam fans, the streaming giant hasn’t formally announced the release date for the movie just yet. Myanimelist, on the other hand, has Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway listed to release on Netflix on the 1st of July, 2021 in selected territories.
