Netflix Reveals Trailer for ‘Transformers: War for Cybertron – Earthrise’

Roll out, Optimus said. Thankfully, Netflix followed the same commands and is about to release Transformers: War for Cybertron – Earthrise. The successful first part of the War for Cybertron was praised for its undeniable animation and the depiction of the darker elements located in the Transformers universe.

One can argue that War for Cybertron is the best Transformers series since forever, and that’s well-impressive since there are still two more parts in the future.

Releasing on the 30th of DecemberEarthrise will revolve around the story of, once again, the Allspark. The Autobots set out on a journey to find what seems to be the missing piece to Cybertron’s destruction. Lead to Earth, the Autobots and the Decepticons meet––and who finds the Allspark first holds the fate of the Transformers’ lives and Cybertron.

Recently, Netflix has bestowed upon us the gift of the trailer. Epic is one word to describe it, but surprising is an understatement. Revealed in the trailer is Galvatron alongside infamous Decepticon leader, Megatron. If you’ve been up to pace with the Transformers universe, Galvatron IS Megatron––just an incarnation.

“The Future is Unwritten,” the trailer says. This is enough information for us to assume that Earthrise will be demonstrating some sort of time-bending technology where Galvatron summons his past-self to his all-powerful present. It has also been revealed that despite the Autobots looking at their demise, history has always foretold that the Decepticons will lose the Great War inevitably. Galvatron’s deception of time might not be because of how much he wants to secure his destiny, but possibly to change it conclusively.
