‘The Legend of Korra’: All Four Seasons to be Available Outside of the US

Netflix has finally deemed you worthy of bending the elements––or at least watch it. In August 2020, Netflix US has picked up every single season of The Legend of Korra but wasn’t released in other regions. Four months later, the series will be premiering the series on the streaming giant on the 15th of December in most regions.

If you’ve been living under a rock, The Legend of Korra is the follow-up TV series to Nickelodeon’s 2012 to 2014 Avatar: The Last Airbender. Both of which are hugely successful in their own rights and platforms––especially now that both series are available on Netflix to watch.

Towards the end of July, the official @netflixqueue Twitter account (formerly known as Netflix’s See What’s Next) tweeted out a photo of what was coming in August. To many fans’ disappointment, The Legend of Korra was stated to be exclusive for subscribers in the United States.

Well, well, well––looks like Netflix finally came to its senses and finally release word that a number of regions are getting The Legend of Korra on the 15th of December.

In the United Kingdom, for example, all four seasons of the series have been exclusively available on Amazon Prime Video. However, since the announcement, looks like Netflix will also be streaming the animated TV series.

The official @Netflix_PH of the Philippines has also announced that they’d be getting all four seasons on the 15th, alongside those of Latin Americans.

With a series as big as this, there’s absolutely no surprise that people are actually clamoring for it to be available in their regions. Netflix has done their part, it’s just time for you to do yours––watch freely during the holidays.
