Space Force: Season 2 Official Netflix Trailer is Out

Just a reminder that Space Force season 2 will be out on February 18. In the meantime, you can watch Netflix’s trailer of the show’s second run that premiered yesterday night.

The streamer’s Twitter update of the show states, “Will a new administration mean the end of Space Force?”

The trailer offers fans a sneak peek of what becomes of General Mark Naird, Dr Adrian Mallory and other Space Force members since season one’s ending. Nothing seems to have changed much at the Space Force since Naird’s attempted escape pending his arrest for rebellion. Under new leadership, Naird and his crew are sent on a mission to prove that Space Force can militarize space within four months.

You’ll have to wait for season two’s debut to see what happened to the astronauts who might have got stranded on the moon following season one’s cliffhanger ending. However, Patton Oswalt is featured in the trailer as a lonesome astronaut who interacts with his Space Force ground team via satellite. The trailer packs silliness and fun moments, as well as Mallory, scaring his crew members with a shocking video.

Space Force season 2 presents well known A-list faces like The Office alum Steve Carell, John Malkovich (Johnny English), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation), Diana Silvers (Booksmart), Jimmy O. Yang (Silicon Valley), Tawny Newsome (Bajillion Dollar Propertie$) and Friends veteran Lisa Kudrow.

The first run of this military parody show received mixed reviews despite being liked by 86% of the audience. It obtained a 39% Rotten Tomatoes score and a 6.7/10 rating on IMDb. While several critics thought the show was meh and leaned towards grin rather than rib-cracking moments, most viewers pretty much loved its content. Hopefully, season 2 will get the chance to redeem its rating with the critics.

As you wait for the show’s season premiere, you can catch up on similar Netflix series, including Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Parks and Recreation, American Vandal, Community and The Office.
