Boba Fett actor Jeremy Bulloch has passed aged 75.

Bullock, who played the bounty hunter in The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi. Although Fett was a relatively minor character in the series, he quickly became a fan favourite and is a regular target for cosplayers.

Bullock died in a London hospital following ‘health complications, including several years living with Parkinson’s disease,’ his website said.

Most famous for his role masked role in Star Wars, he also had short cameo roles as imperial officers in the films and had supporting roles in three James Bond films, with his website adding, ‘Jeremy had a long and happy life acting.’

Tributes have flown in from across the galaxy.  

Mark Hamill paid respects to Bulloch, tweeting, ‘Jeremy Bulloch was the quintessential English gentleman. A fine actor, delightful company & so kind to everyone lucky enough to meet or work with him. I will deeply miss him & am so grateful to have known him. Broken heart #RIP_DearJeremy.’

Billy Dee Williams, who played Lando Calrissian alongside Fett in two films also took to Twitter, saying ‘Today we lost the best bounty hunter in the galaxy Broken heartRIP Jeremy Bulloch #BobaFett’

Daniel Logan, who played a child Boba Fett in the prequel films said the news brought him to tears, posting a picture on Instagram with the caption, ‘It brings me to tears to announce Jeremy Bulloch has passed away. RIP legend, I’ll never forget all you’ve taught me. I’ll love you forever! May the force be with you.’

Rest in peace Jeremy Bulloch. You’re at one with the Force now.
