Netflix’s Newest Original Series, ‘Murderville’, Release Date and Official Trailer

Netflix just released the trailer of this crime drama series on YouTube some hours ago, and it seems like it packs not only murder mysteries but comedy as well, especially with Will Arnett, Ken Jeong and Kumail Nanjiani in the mix.

Synopsis

Netflix’s original series is based on the BBC Three series Murder in Successville. Murderville features a senior detective Terry Seattle played by Will Arnett, as he strives to solve a new murder mystery in every episode.

The show casts a celebrity guest actor in each instalment who helps the detective solve the clues. The best part about the show is that the cast applies its improvisation. No learning of dialogue lines is required! The actors are free to be themselves and go for a jolly ride.

Production

The show hails a wide group of executive producers, including Krister Johnson who is also the showrunner and writer. He is joined by executive producers Will Arnett, Marc Forman, Brian Steinberg, Andy Brereton, James De Frond, Jonathan Stern, Tom Davis and Peter Principato.

Brennan Shroff and Iain Morris directed the series while Adriana Robles, Anna Drezen, Chadd Gindin, Craig Rowin, Hanna Levy, Jack Kukoda, Kerry O’Neil and Marina Cockenberg wrote the screenplay.
