Netflix just released the trailer of this crime drama series on YouTube some hours ago, and it seems like it packs not only murder mysteries but comedy as well, especially with Will Arnett, Ken Jeong and Kumail Nanjiani in the mix.
Murderville will premiere on February 3 2022. Take a look at its trailer below:
Netflix’s original series is based on the BBC Three series Murder in Successville. Murderville features a senior detective Terry Seattle played by Will Arnett, as he strives to solve a new murder mystery in every episode.
The show casts a celebrity guest actor in each instalment who helps the detective solve the clues. The best part about the show is that the cast applies its improvisation. No learning of dialogue lines is required! The actors are free to be themselves and go for a jolly ride.
Get to see some of Hollywood’s finest in kick-ass improvisational comedy-drama. The show’s cast includes Will Arnett as Terry Seattle, Ken Jeong as himself, Lilan Bowden as Amber Kang, Philip Smithey as Darren Daz Phillips, Mary Hollis Inboden as Kathy, Haneefah Wood as Chief Rhonda Jenkins-Seattle, Conan O’Brien as himself, Alison Becker as Deb Melton, David Wain as Magic Melvin, DeMorge Brown as Captivating Keith, Samantha Cutaran as Dr Madison Chen, Sharon Stone as herself, Marshawn Lynch as himself, John Ennis, Kumail Nanjiani, Annie Murphy and Ralph Lammie Jr.
The show hails a wide group of executive producers, including Krister Johnson who is also the showrunner and writer. He is joined by executive producers Will Arnett, Marc Forman, Brian Steinberg, Andy Brereton, James De Frond, Jonathan Stern, Tom Davis and Peter Principato.
Brennan Shroff and Iain Morris directed the series while Adriana Robles, Anna Drezen, Chadd Gindin, Craig Rowin, Hanna Levy, Jack Kukoda, Kerry O’Neil and Marina Cockenberg wrote the screenplay.
Murderville is a production of Abominable Pictures, Electric Ave, Artists First and Sony Pictures Television.
