Part of the most star-studded and highest profiled projects of 2021, Cate Blanchett was totally method acting with how she was fashionably killing it on her way to the set of Netflix’s Don’t Look Up in Boston, Massachusetts.
The 51-year-old two-time Oscar-winning actress looked marvelous in black and with her blonde hair flowing with the wind. Dressed in a black blazer secured with a very thick belt around the waist with a matching low-cut lace top. With gold hoop earrings and make-up to boast, Blanchett really woke up that day and said she was going to slay.
The actress brought with her a black puffer coat, papers, and an RX bar in her hands. You know the secret to Blanchett beauty now, kids––protein bars. With the pandemic still on the horizon, she sported a face shield as a measure of protection against the coronavirus.
Either way, we’re here for her upcoming project titled Don’t Look Up––a sci-fi comedy set to release on the streaming giant from The Big Short‘s very own Oscar-winning writer-director Adam McKay. Alongside Blanchett are some of the biggest names in Hollywood for the past decade, some even longer than that. The cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Evans, Timothée Chalamet, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Matthew Perry, and Ariana Grande––and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
