Netflix’s ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ Drops Plot Details for 4th Season

DreamWorks Animation has just released Season 3 for Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous last May 21, but fans are already asking for the next season. The executive producers of the franchise, Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Colin Trevorrow  gave a positive answer and stated that he wants to keep building scenarios that will reveal secrets about the entire Jurassic kingdom.

A Recap on the First Three Seasons

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous started as a group of six youngsters who have been picked for a once-in-a-lifetime trip at a new adventure camp on the other side of Isla Nublar. The campers, however, are stranded as dinosaurs wreak devastation on the island. They’ll have to go from strangers to friends to family if they’re going to survive without being able to communicate with the outside world.

As the campers return to Isla Nublar in the second season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, we are introduced to exciting and pure escapist amusement — the stranded campers hope that a group of eco-tourists will save them, but all is not as it seems.

Additionally, in the current run of episodes, the determined campers explore other portions of the island in quest of resources to engineer their own rescue, where they will confront a deadly new threat. After all of these situations, the story is far from being over. Here’s all we know about the fourth season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ Release Date

Netflix still has to confirm Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous for a fourth season, but considering the suspenseful finale of season three, there’s a good possibility the brave young Campers will be back for more adventures. Season 2 of Camp Cretaceous premiered in October 2020, just a few weeks after season 1 ended. After the January debut of season 2, Netflix announced a March 2021 release date for Camp Cretaceous season 3. So, fans of the Jurassic Park franchise will have to wait a few weeks to find out if Season 4 of Camp Cretaceous will air very soon on Netflix.

What Should We Expect on the Fourth Season?

With the third season of Camp Cretaceous coming to a close, the Campers eventually leave Isla Nublar, but they’re unknowing of a mysterious dinosaur trapped beneath the damaged boat’s bottom deck. If the Campers do not return to Jurassic World, it would throw a lot of possibilities for season 4 of Camp Cretaceous. One possibility is that, instead of arriving in Costa Rica as planned, the Campers will be stranded on Isla Sorna, also known as Site B, the other dinosaur-infested island. Isla Sorna hasn’t been seen in canon since Jurassic Park III, and over 15 years have passed in-universe, so it’s ripe for a new adventure putting the kids against dinosaurs on unfamiliar terrain. Another possibility is that the Campers will end up on one of the other islands that make up the Five Deaths chain, which was initially referenced in The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Despite their escape from Isla Nublar, Darius, Brooklynn, Ben, Kenji, Yaz, and Sammy will face fresh challenges in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous season 4.
