Masterminded by Stranger Things, Shawn Levy creates a time-travelling character, Reynolds, who must work with his late father and his younger self to guard the future and come to an understanding of his past.
Plot
Reynolds (Adam Reed) is the injured time traveler from the year 2050 who has travelled back in time on a horrible rescue mission to salvage the love of his life, Laura (Zoe Saldana). Laura had previously vanished mysteriously from the time-space series. When Adam’s spaceship knocks down, he’s propelled back to 2022, the only place he recalls home.
Synopsis
Adam Reed (13 years), still mourning his late father’s sudden death, bumps into an injured pilot hiding in his garage as he strolled in the dark. The strange pilot happens to be Adam’s older kind from the future, where time travel had just started.
The two must undertake a venture mission into the past in search of their father, get things right and salvage the world. The triad comes to terms with their father’s loss and strives to cure their wounds.
Cast
Ryan Reynolds (Adam) is the time-travelling pilot, while Walker Scobell is his younger self. Mark Ruffalo is Adam’s late father. Other confirmed characters are Zoe Saldana (Laura), who is the missing Adam’s lover, Adam’s mother (Jeniffer Garner) and Alex Mallar Jr (Christos). We shall update you if Netflix announces any new cast members.
