Netflix’s “Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight” is now in Production

Guillermo del Toro, fresh off his Oscar win for The Shape of Water, has taken on so many projects in the last year that it’s becoming difficult to keep track. And we tell you, that is a good problem for all of us to have. One of these projects is Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight, a horror anthology series for Netflix.

Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight is a horror anthology series that will provide subscribers with a distinct horrifyingly horrific tale telling experience with each episode. The show will contain ten episodes, according to the information on IMDb Pro. We’ll add them all with the essential details once we know the names of the episode titles and synopses for each episode.

Netflix has been casting since May 2021, but there has been no formal announcement. However, we do know the identities of two actors who have been cast in the film. Actress Essie Davis will play a mother who has lost her kid in the first episode of Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight. “Distant and distracted” is how the character is described. Davis is recognized for her work on The White Princess, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, and the Assassin’s Creed movie adaption. Luke Roberts, who eagle-eyed Game of Thrones fans will recognize as Ser Arthur Dayne, is the second confirmed actor. Roberts has also appeared in the films Ransom, Black Sails, and Wolf Hall for BC. Roberts will play Joe Allen, a well-known and well-liked miner, in an episode in Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight.

A select number of episodes of the horror anthology will be written and directed by Guillermo del Toro. He’ll assemble a talented team of filmmakers and writers to help finish the series in the remaining episodes. There’s no chance of a 2021 release because production isn’t expected to conclude until February 2022. However, there’s a potential we won’t see the series in 2022 as well, depending on how long the post-production process takes.

In the best-case scenario, Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight will be released as part of Netflix’s Halloween lineup in 2022. So who’s excited for next year’s Halloween?
