Alyssa Milano’s ‘Brazen’ Comes to Netflix in January

The former Charmed star, Alyssa Milano comes again to our screens as an almost unrecognizable but ageless blonde named Grace McCabe in the American romantic thriller movie, Brazen.
NetflixFilm dropped the film’s announcement three days ago on December 15 with the caption, “Based on the book by Nora Roberts, BRAZEN starring Alyssa Milano- Comes to Netflix January 13,” along with the movie’s trailer.

Fans are extremely excited, with some expressing their heartfelt sentiments over Nora Roberts’ novels being turned into films and shows.

Brazen’s Synopsis

The film follows the story of Grace (Milano) who is a writer and criminal investigator. She travels to Washington DC to meet her sister following her call. However, her sister is killed, causing secrets to be disclosed. Despite consistent warnings from the case’s detective not to get involved, Grace continues with her investigation.

What We Know So Far About The Film

The 1 hour 34 minutes movie was directed by Monika Mitchell and written by Edithe Swensen, Donald Martin and Suzette Couture. Filming commenced on March 15 2021, and ended on April 23 2021, taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Netflix released the film’s official trailer on YouTube on December 15, which features Grace being overly involved with her sister’s murder, especially when she finds out the murder follows her book’s plot. Murders start becoming prevalent, which hint at the works of a serial killer.

The Film’s Cast

Joining Milano in the lead is Sam Page, who plays Detective Ed Jackson. The movie’s supporting cast includes Alison Araya, Barry W Levy, Colleen Wheeler, Daniel Diemer, David Lewis, Emilie Ullerup and Malachi Weir.
