‘Suspicion,’ a thriller drama starring Uma Thurman, is coming to Apple TV+ soon

Just when you thought you’d run out of good new thrillers, along comes this one.

The premiere date for Apple’s new thriller series “Suspicion” has been announced. According to Apple, “Suspicion” will be released internationally on February 4, 2022. The eight-episode drama, featuring Academy Award nominee Uma Thurman, will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes, with one new episode released every Friday thereafter.

The story begins when the son of a renowned American businesswoman (Thurman) is abducted from a New York hotel, suspicion rapidly falls on four seemingly ordinary British residents who were at the hotel that night. Kunal Nayyar, Angel Coulby, Elyes Gabel, Georgina Campbell, Noah Emmerich, Tom Rhys-Harries, and Elizabeth Henstridge are among the cast members.

The Apple TV series is based on the award-winning Israeli series “False Flag,” which will premiere in Israel on Keshet 12 in March 2022 for its third season.

Rob Williams, a BAFTA Award nominee, is the showrunner and executive producer for ‘Suspicion’ which is produced in the United Kingdom. Darin McLeod is the show’s producer. Keshet Productions, the U.K. branch of Keshet International arm of production Chris Long who also directs, Howard Burch for Keshet Productions.

Because the series is not labeled as a limited series, it is possible that it will return.
