Get ready, William Shakespeare fans! Apple TV+ offers this dark age old-English drama series to chew on. The Tragedy of Macbeth is officially out on Friday, January 14 2022.

Denzel Washington portrays one of Shakespeare’s most notable characters in his play, Macbeth. The Tragedy of Macbeth is written and directed by Joel Coen, inspired by the creative collaborator Frances McDormand’s awe-inspiring stage performance.

What is The Tragedy of Macbeth About?

The film features the two-time Academy Award winner, Denzel Washington as the protagonist Macbeth. The three-time Academy Award winner, Frances McDormand plays Lady Macbeth, the protagonist’s wife. This powerful duo tells the story of an ambitious couple whose hunger for power leads to their demise.
