Bird Box Losses its #1 Position of Most Watched Netflix Movie to Red Notice

The horror-thriller film by Susanne Bier has now been displaced by the recent action-comedy Red Notice as the most-watched Netflix film after an unmatched title for the past three years since its release on December 21, 2018, on Netflix.

You have to admit, Bird Box has gained amazing traction for the past three years, given that it didn’t resort to enormous marketing strategies except for the old-fashioned word-of-mouth. With an incredible cast including Sandra Bullock, John Malkovich, BD Wong, Lil Rel Howery and Machine Gun Kelly and a thrilling plot, it’s no wonder this movie has remained the leader all these years, with a 66% review rating.

Red Notice has managed to surpass Sandra Bullock’s Bird Box, and I must say that the action film deserves its high title. From Netflix sparing no expense for the best quality to high-end actors Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), it was just a matter of time that the #1 position got snatched away from the former film.

Since the successful 2018 horror thriller film, Sandra Bullock has ventured into other projects, including the 2021 drama movie, The Unforgiven that is set to premiere on Netflix on December 10. We are eager to see if this one lives up to the unshakeable title that Bird Box was entitled to.

Ironically, one of Bullock’s most successful film projects was starring alongside Reynolds in the 2009 Rom-Com, The Proposal that grossed $317 million at the box office. We are hoping to experience another monumental Reyllock combination in Netflix’s future film projects because we are certain to have our minds blown away.
