Stranger Things’ star Millie Bobby Brown is off for another Netflix Original as her fifth big project for the streaming service. She will take the lead role for the film adaptation of the novel The Girls I’ve Been written by Tessa Sharpe.

‘The Girls I’ve Been’ Plot and Details

Nora O’Malley has worn the faces of many girls, from a sister to an ex, and to a secret girlfriend, she is the daughter of a con artist, who targets criminal men for a living. By growing up as her mother’s protege, Nora has learned some exceptional skills that she will need to use to get herself and her friends out of some dangerous trouble.

The movie starring Brown had been in pre-production status since July 2020. No director has been assigned yet to the production, but this isn’t the cause of the delay. It may have been because of the busy schedule of the lead star, Millie Bobby Brown.

When the project was given to the young actress, she was busy taping Stranger Things Season 4 and Enola Holmes 2, respectively. Aside from these big projects, it has also been reported that Millie Bobby Brown will also be starring in Damsel, a fantasy movie prepared by Netflix.

So far, there have been no other actors confirmed to accompany Millie Bobby Brown in The Girls I’ve Been. Because the film is still in production, we can expect the premiere of this thrilling movie in 2023.
