‘Single all the Way’, a Romantic Christmas Comedy, Drops Today on Netflix

Coming to our screens with a host of stars you’ll recognize – and some you’ll have to google, even though you just know that you know them… Single all the Way, a romantic Christmas comedy starring Michael Urie from The Good Wife and Ugly Betty as the main protagonist Peter, with Philemon Chambers playing his best friend Nick.

Directed by Michael Mayer, known for his adaptation of The Seagull in 2015 starring Saoirse Ronan and Annette Bening, this is set to be the first gay Netflix holiday comedy-romance film, and as such has been highly anticipated.

Nick joins Peter on a visit to his family for the holidays, cue Peter’s family, Hocus Pocus star Kathy Najimy, the ever hilarious Jennifer Coolidge, Barry Bostwick, best known for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Jennifer Robertson who plays Jocelyn Schitt in Schitt’s Creek. There’s no way that this movie isn’t funny with a cast like this, right?

Although Peter’s mother sets him up on a blind date with her handsome spin instructor – a date that doesn’t work out – the rest of Peter’s family already know that Peter and Nick are made for one another. The question is, will Peter and Nick realize it?

An endearing holiday romance story, with a ‘will they, won’t they?’ feel to it, this is the perfect movie to get the popcorn ready for this week. It’s due to be released on the 2nd of December on Netflix, so keep some time free in your weekend for some holiday romance!
