Avatar: The Last Airbender Inspires a Cookbook

The Nickelodeon Animation Studios’ production that aired for three seasons from 2005 to 2008 on Nickelodeon has helped boost the career of Jenny Dorsey.

Dorsey, a professional chef, artist and author, has launched Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Official Cookbook, whose recipes are inspired by Aang, the animated series’ protagonist.

The beautifully compiled cookbook offers Asian-themed recipes from four nations depicted in Avatar: vegetarian cuisines by the Air Nomads, tasty seafood dishes from the Water Tribe, tantalizing dishes by the Earth Kingdom and saucy entrees by the Fire Nation.

The cookbook provides detailed recipes complete with high-quality images of the dishes and pointers on how to integrate the dishes into your diet.

The book is available on Amazon for $24.99, and it consists of 60 food and beverage recipes, combined with letters from Aang highlighting the relevance of each recipe.
