Dead to Me Season 3: Release Date & Final Season Details

Dead to Me is a Netflix Original black-comedy series set in Laguna Beach, Los Angeles. It has been running for two seasons from May 3rd, 2019, on Netflix. The third season is expected to release next year, with just a few weeks left of filming it is due to finish in 2022. Season 3 will be the final season in the series.

Who is Behind Dead to Me?

Dead to Me was created by comedian, actress, producer and writer Liz Feldman, and is executively produced by Feldman, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Jessica Elbaum.

Who Stars in Dead to Me?

The dark comedy series stars Christina Applegate, well known for her role as the dumb, popular blonde on Married with Children, and comedy films like Anchorman, The Sweetest Thing, and Bad Moms. She co-stars with Linda Cardellini, who played teenager Lindsay Weir in Freaks and Geeks, and plays Mrs Hawkeye – Laura Barton – in Marvel’s Hawkeye series and the Avengers movies.
Also starring in the series are Sam McCarthy, Luke Roessler, James Marsden, Max Jenkins, Diana Maria Riva, and Brandon Scott.

What’s the Premise?

Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are Jen and Judy, two grieving women who bond during goup therapy. Jen is mourning the death of her husband, and Judy is hiding secrets that will become unravelled over the course of the series. Jen is a very angry widow, and Judy is always positive, which makes for some funny moments.

What is Season 3 About?

Season 2 ended with Jen and Judy being involved in a car accident which left Jen looking a little bit worse for wear. We expect that the third season will pick up there and we’ll find out if everyone is ok. The driver of the other car was Ben, played by James Marsden. He drove off, so we’ll find out what happens there too! Will he get caught? Did Jen or Judy see him? We’ll have to wait and see!
