It’s been a while since we heard Harry Nilsson’s “Gotta Get Up,” which marks the start of Nadia’s (Natasha Lyonne) never-ending day in Netflix’s Russian Doll, but Charlie Barnett is giving fans an update as Season 2 approaches.
Barnett tells TV Insider, “We just wrapped the second season right before I walked into doing Ordinary Joe.” The actor plays Alan in the half-hour dramedy, which has plenty of twists and turns but is a little easier to follow for Barnett than his three alternate characters in NBC’s newer drama.
How many episodes will there be in the upcoming season?
Russian Doll Season 2 is expected to include the same number of episodes (eight) as the first season. However, they are dissatisfied because Netflix has been mute on the second season’s production.
The Success of the Russian Doll
On February 1, 2019, Netflix premiered Russian Doll. The drama has received five Emmy nominations. Including Christopher Place for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Comedy Series or a Variety Program, and the series (Russian Doll) for Outstanding Comedy Series are among the nominees.
The release date for Russian Doll Season 2 has yet to be determined. Keep an eye on Cord Cutters Club for the most up-to-date information about Netflix shows.
