‘Bubble’: WIT Studio’s New Anime Coming Soon to Netflix

Netflix just dropped a release date for a parkour anime called ‘Bubble’. It will be available for worldwide streaming on 28 April next year and released in Japan theatres on May 13.
The streaming platform released the anime’s teaser trailer a few hours ago that ends with the caption, “GRAVITY IS BROKEN-LEAP AS YOU LIKE.” Anime fans have already taken to Twitter to express their excitement about this upcoming WIT Studio Production film.

Here’s What We Know About Bubble Anime So Far

The series is a thrilling anime based in Tokyo, where bubbles occur that trigger the loss of gravity. The city turns into a play centre for a group of youngsters that lost their loved ones to take part in parkour team competitions.

The team behind this creative plot include Tetsuro Araki as the film’s director. He also spearheaded the anime, Kabanari of the Iron Fortress. Thank Gen Urobuchi for the anime’s out-of-the-world storyline. He previously wrote the script for the 2011 anime, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and the Japanese light novel Fate/Zero.

The characters are designed by Takeshi Obata, who also illustrated the Japanese manga series Death Note. Its amazing song list is composed and put together by Hiroyuki Sawano, whose previous projects include Blue Exorcist and The Seven Deadly Sins.

WIT Studio also produced Ranking of Kings, a fantasy manga series that was released in October and Attack on Titan, which is one the best-selling manga series of all time.

This anime features A-list actors, including Jun Shison, who starred in the live-action film Gokushufudou, as Hibiki, a young ace player recognised for his risky playstyle. Other cast members are Yuuki Kaji (Ousama Ranking), Mamoru Miyano (Zombieland Saga: Revenge) and Tasuku Hatanaka (Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal).
