After the world premiere of Netflix’s, Don’t Look Up on Sunday, December 5 in New York City, NetflixFilm dropped a tweet today, sharing a photo of the film’s writer-director, Adam McKay joined by Oscar Winners Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep as well as Academy Award nominee, Jonah Hill. It didn’t take too long for people to start commenting, mostly about Hill’s amusing wardrobe choice for the event or Lawrence’s hard to notice baby bump.

The Trailer

We couldn’t be more excited to watch the movie after Netflix released its official trailer on 16 November, featuring DiCaprio and Lawrence as low-level astronomers, Streep as the president of the United States and Hill as the president’s son and the Chief of Presidential Staff.

Don’t Look Up is partly tense and partly filled with dark humor as the astronomers strive to alert the world of an impending asteroid that would destroy the earth in six months to come. However, humanity is unbelieving and unreceptive of the news.

Who’s Been Cast in the Movie?

Who hasn’t been cast in this film! Joining Streep, Hill, DiCaprio and Lawrence, are an amazing cast of A-listers including Cate Blanchett, Ron Perlman, Melanie Lynskey, Tyler Perry, Michael Chiklis, Paul Guilfoyle, Rob Morgan, Mark Rylance, Timothée Chalamet, Himesh Patel, Meghan Leathers, Kid Cudi, Hettienne Park and not forgetting the Award-winning pop star, Ariana Grande.

When Will The Movie Be Out?

We are only three days away from the movie’s cinema launch on Friday, December 10. Netflix will drop it on its streaming platform on Christmas Eve, making it the ultimate holiday treat. Things are looking up this month!
