Enola Holmes Season 2: Updates and What We Know So Far

Helena Bonham Carter will reunite with Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill in a new Legendary and Netflix mystery starring Enola Holmes. While the first film focused on the first novel in Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries series, The Case of the Missing Marquess, the sequel may focus on the second book, The Case of the Left-Handed Lady. However, because there are six novels in the series, it’s feasible that the sequel will blend stories or save the other volumes for future sequels.

Details About Enola Holmes 2 We Know So Far

The first film ended with the Holmes family (kind of) reuniting and Enola staring into the camera, declaring that she must forge her own path going ahead. It is unknown what mystery will be solved in the sequel. There are numerous stories in the series that can be adapted. According to the logical order, the following film will be about Enola’s search for Lady Cecily Allistair in The Case of the Left-Handed Lady.

So far, only a few cast members have been revealed, including the two leads in the next film. Only Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill were revealed to be reprising their roles as Enola and Sherlock Holmes in the initial sequel announcement. Louis Partridge would return for the sequel, according to a second revelation made during Netflix’s TUDUM event. Netflix then confirmed the following new cast members on September 28th:

  • Helena Bonham Carter
  • David Thewlis
  • Susan Wokoma
  • Adeel Akhtar
  • Sharon Duncan-Brewster
  • Hannah Dodd
  • Abbie Hern
  • Gabriel Tierney
  • Serrana Su-Ling Bliss

Enola Holmes has become one of Netflix’s most popular original films. With 77 million households watching it in its first 28 days, the streaming site just revised its Top 10, and the film was ranked No. 7 between The Old Guard and Project Power. Extraction is at the top of the list, and it will soon be followed by a sequel starring Chris Hemsworth.

We’ll keep this page updated as fresh Enola Holmes 2 information becomes available, but let us know whether you’re looking forward to the sequel in the comments.
