The Eagerly Awaited Anime, Vampire in the Garden Season 1 Comes to Netflix Next Year

Wit Studio is yet to hit us with another Netflix Original anime, right after Attack on Titan, The Rolling Girls, After the Rain, Seraph of the End and many more.

Vampire in the Garden is produced by Tetsuya Nakatake and directed by Ryoutarou Mikahara. Other crew members include Hiroyuki Tanaka as assistant director, Tetsuya Nishio as character designer, Shunichiro Yoshihara as art director, and Kazushi Fujii and Satoshi Takabatake in charge of the art setting.

Though many fans speculated the series’ debut for this year, its release has been scheduled for 2022 with an unconfirmed date. We predict that Vampire in the Garden will release by spring next year, but it could be earlier. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

Showcasing a glowing city, the anime series offers 50/50 beautiful and bloody, which is exactly what the audience expects to see. Even the name makes you think of the drama thriller CW’s The Vampire Diaries.

This story features a world where humans and vampires once co-existed well, but increasing traction between the two parties put a kink in their collaboration. The only ray of hope lays with two young women from the two species, a human violinist, Momo and a vampire queen, Fine. The two share a mutual love for music despite their racial differences.

Momo and Queen Fine go against odds to co-exist peacefully as the two races originally used to. The queen also desires to explore a deeper perspective than what she already knows. The series’ top cast members are Megumi Han as the human violinist, Momo and Yû Kobayashi as the vampire, Queen Fine.

Considering that Wit Studio was founded less than a decade ago, it has managed to dish out successful anime shows and films year after year and we are currently on the lookout for Spy x Family based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo.
