Synopsis

The mystery web series shares the story of a filmmaker, Melody Pendras and an archivist Dan Turner. Dan lands his dream job, but the role comes with risks that could endanger his life. He is tasked with restoring a collection of tapes from 1994 that was filmed by Melody.

The tapes contain secret recordings of a dangerous cult. Dan gets intrigued by Melody’s story as he terrifyingly strives to numb himself to the consequence of her investigation that happened 25 years ago.

What’s The Deal With Archive 81?

It’s not just because the upcoming Netflix series is an awesome blend of old horror and mystery but also because it is a replication of a podcast series made by Daniel Powell and Marc Sollinger, released in April 2019.

Fans of the three seasons podcast series are extremely ecstatic to watch the live-action of the audio content. The visual medium to the audio version will make the experience more exciting.

Who is The Cast?

The series’ leading characters are played by Dina Shihabi, who takes the role of Melody Pendras and Mamoudou Athie as Dan Turner. Other cast members include Ariana Neal as Jess, Jaxon Rose Moore as Emily Turner, Charlie Hudson III as Steven Turner, Evan Jonigkeit as Samuel, Matt McGory as Mark and Daniel Johnson as Visser Tenant.
