The eagerly awaited 4th season of Cobra Kai will be here in just a few days, and we can’t wait to see what sort of shenanigans Johnny Lawrence is going to get up to. We recently reported on the release date for Cobra Kai Season 4 and told you a little about the series, so let’s recap.
What is Cora Kai About?
An American martial arts comedy-drama based on the 1980s movie, Karate Kid, starring Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, the new kid in Reseda, L.A.
Daniel meets Mr. Miyagi, played by Pat Morita, who teaches him karate, and he makes an enemy in Johnny Lawrence, the town karate champ, played by William Zabka.
Cobra Kai is set in Reseda years later when Daniel and Johnny are all grown up. Played by the same characters, Daniel is doing very well for himself, but Johnny is not. They reconnect and the rivalry between the two men resurfaces. They open rival Dojos which results in a lot of fighting between the teens of the town, including Daniel’s daughter and Johnny’s son.
Who Stars in Cobra Kai?
Alongside Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, Courtney Henggeler plays Daniel’s wife Amanda, and Mary Mouser plays his daughter Samantha. Tanner Buchanan plays Johnny’s son Robby Keene, and Xolo Maridueña plays Miguel Diaz, Johnny’s neighbor and student.
What’s Season 4 About?
In Season 4 we will see Daniel and Johnny joining forces against a common enemy so the kids of Reseda can settle their differences at the All Valley Championships. We will also see the return of the very evil Terry Silver, who terrorized poor young Daniel LaRusso in 1989’s The Karate Kid 3.
When Can We Watch it?
Season 4 of Cobra Kai is set to hit Netflix on December 31st, so you’ll be able to watch it very soon!
