Down to Earth with Zac Efron Season 2: Netflix Release Date & Trailer

Web documentary Down to Earth with Zac Efron is returning to Netflix soon for a second season, and we can’t wait to see what Zac and Darin have to teach us this time around. Down to Earth is a reality travel show following actor Zac Efron and his friend and co-star, wellness expert Darin Olien as they travel the world, learning about other cultures, local food from different countries and cultures they visit, and sustainability practices. 

What Happened in Season 1?

Zac and Darin showed us some beautiful places, educated us about sustainable practices, and taught us about local foods and cultures in a thoroughly enjoyable series. They looked at Iceland’s renewable energy efforts, learned about different types of bottled water in LA and the tap water system in Paris. They visited a wildlife refuge and an eco-village in Costa Rica, and then traveled to Sardinia, Peru, Puerto Rico, and London before the last episode, in which they boosted their immune systems and checked out some ayahuasca in the Amazon rainforest.

What is Season 2 About?

In Season 2 of Down to Earth, Zac and Darin travel through Australia. In March 2021 @zacdowntoearth posted “Season 2! Thank you Australia for the warm welcome” See the post here. We expect to see them foraging in the bush, cooking on the beach, cuddling kangaroos, exploring sustainable and ethical energy sources and zero-waste solutions, and much more. 

Who is Behind Down to Earth With Zac Efron?

Down to Earth is Produced by Zac’s younger brother, Dylan Efron, Laura Coconato, Steve Hoffman, and Rachael Wax Taber. Taber also serves as editor on the show. 

When Can We Watch Season 2?

The best we can give you is a very vague date. 2022. We are eagerly awaiting a release date from the show for Season 2, and as soon as we know, you’ll know!
