I mean— a good combo right? If you enjoyed hit series like How To Get Away with Murder, you’ll sure like this one. It has a twist though, it’s not just murder-mystery, it’s also comedic.
Apple TV+ released the new trailer for The Afterparty, a murder mystery comedy by Academy Award, BAFTA and Golden Globe Award winners Chris Miller and Phil Lord (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” , “21 Jump Street” ,The Lego Movie”). Anthony King will also work on the genre-bending series as an executive producer.
Apple TV+ depicted the storyline as: “centers on a murder mystery at a high school reunion. Each of the eight episodes features a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual style and film genre to match the teller’s personality.”
The show features Tiffany Haddish, Dave Franco, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, Ilana Glazer, Ben Schwartz, Jamie Demetriou, Ike Barinholtz, and John Early.
The show will premiere on January 28, 2022 with its first three episodes each week, and then a new episode every Friday up to its finale.
