The Gray Man: The Most Expensive Film Ever Made by Netflix Drops in 2022

The Gray Man is set to be the most expensive film ever made by Netflix, with a production budget of $200 million. They obviously have faith that it’s going to be fantastic, so we have high hopes for it too!

Due to be released next year, The Gray Man is an American action thriller film based on a 2009 novel by Mark Greaney, a New York Times bestselling author and a collaborator on seven Tom Clancy novels. Filming took place in locations around Europe, including Prague, the Czech Republic, and the Château de Chantilly in France, so we’re sure to see some beautiful scenery in this movie, although the action will probably distract from it somewhat. The movie was produced by AGBO, the production company owned by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, who are known for their work on the Avengers movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Gray Man is expected to be the start of a new franchise based on the novel, so keep an eye out for plenty more of these!

The movie stars Ryan Gosling as Court Gentry, a CIA operative who is forced to become a fugitive after a betrayal by the agency. Ryan Gosling stars alongside Chris Evans, who plays Lloyd Hanson, the agent who is tasked with tracking Gentry down. The film also features Ana de Armas, Dhanush, Game of Thrones actress Jessica Henwick, the child actress Julia Butters, known for her role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Billy Bob Thronton, among a host of others.
