The Witcher: Season 2 drops today on Netflix

This is an exciting day. We know how we’re going to be spending our weekend. The Witcher: Season 2 drops today on Netflix, and if you just can’t get enough of it, there’s a host of extra shows you can watch too. Watch behind-the-scenes production of The Witcher: Season 2 in a new 37-minute documentary released today, Making The Witcher: Season 2. It stars Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan.

The Netflix tagline reads, “Explore the secrets and lore of “The Witcher” Season 2 — from new monsters and locales to Geralt’s redesigned armor — in this behind-the-scenes look.”
You can watch the trailer here:

This might ruin the magic just a little, I’ll probably stick to the show itself, but if you’re into filmmaking and production and behind-the-scenes secrets, it looks amazing!

Netflix has also released a very short, nine-minute production exploring the world of The Witcher, called The Characters of the Continent, starring Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan.
The tagline for this reads: “With the cast and creator as your guides, explore the world of Elves, Dwarves, Mages and Witchers with behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and more.”

As well as these, they have released a season one recap – for anyone who hasn’t rewatched season one of The Witcher (yeah right!) and two more short documentaries called The Witcher Bestiary Season 1, Part 1 and Part 2. These take a look at the mythologies of the monsters that Geralt hunts to earn his coin. Learn about the Kikimora, the Striga, Basilisks, Dragons, and more.
