Johnny Test was revived rather than rebooted when Netflix picked it up on May 6 2020 for two seasons, including a 66-minute interactive special.
Rather than continuing as season 7, Netflix dropped its season 1 revival of the series on 16 July 2021 and later the interactive special named Johnny Test’s Ultimate Meatloaf Quest on 16 November 2021. Scott Fellows continues to serve as the show’s executive producer and showrunner.
