For the entire year, the talk on Marvel fans’ lips has been, “when will we get to see the third addition to the Spider-Man franchise?” Just when the audience couldn’t wait anymore, Sony Pictures Entertainment released an official trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home on 17 November, with the announcement that the movie will be launching exclusively in movie theaters on Friday 17 December.
Speaking of release, will the Marvel film launch on Netflix and other streaming platforms?
When Will Spider-Man: No Way Home Premiere on Netflix?
There is no official announcement of the movie coming to Netflix just yet. But that’s not to say that it won’t, and the stakes are high given that the previous two movies of the franchise are available on Netflix.
So possibly, the streaming service will launch the film in two months to come, depending on how it performs on the big screen.
What to Expect from Spider-Man: No Way Home?
With the introduction of the multiverse and time travel, thanks to the happenings of Avengers Endgame and most recently Loki season 1, we’ll see a loophole to crazy possibilities in the film.
Most notably, as seen in the trailer, the movie will bring back villains from past Spider-Man movies, including Sandman, Dr Otto Octavius and Norman Osborn from Sam Raimi’s trilogy starring Toby Maguire as spider man and Jamie Fox as Max Dillon from Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man saga starring Andrew Garfield.
Though unseen in the trailer, Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield are said to make a cameo in this film, making it three spidermen. How epic! But I guess we will have to wait for the movie to premiere to ascertain this.
It truly is a wonderful time to be alive!
