We are huge fans of the Arrowverse here and we love that The Flash is still going strong after so long. Based on the DC comics and characters, The Flash is an action-packed show with a huge amount of heroes and villains, lots of clever crossovers from the other CW series such as Arrow and Supergirl, and one of the reasons that it is one of our favorite shows, it has so many amazing characters played by great actors. We also love that there are endless different worlds and Earths in the series, the existence of the multiverse means that pretty much anything can happen – and anything usually does!

The show is set in Central City where Barry Allen (he’s The Flash, shhhh!) works as a forensic investigator by day and a speedster by… well also by day actually, that’s why he gets into so much trouble at work. Who has the time to hold down a job and be a superhero? Barry became a speedster when a freak accident caused him to be struck by lightning, and he has used his powers for good ever since. Through the many seasons of The Flash, we have seen other heroes come and go, and plenty of supervillains try to take The Flash down, but with his team behind him, he always wins. Teamwork and friendship are strong themes in this show, and the show does them very well.
The Flash is currently in its 8th season on The CW, so won’t be released on Netflix until about a week after the season is finished there. This means that we will probably see season 8 of The Flash dropping onto Netflix sometime in the middle of next year, probably June 2022.
